Pipe Relining
Drain Surgeons Ltd can offer a pipe relining service which enables us to rehabilitate the pipe line without excavation. This is ideal in situations where excavation is not possible, i.e. under buildings, through landscaped properties, under driveways or across busy roads.

We use a ‘Sideliner Relining System, where a cured in place air inverted lining system that uses steam to accelerate the curing of the epoxy resin. The unique patented guiding tape used in the system enables the liner to pass through multiple bends or any other pipeline configuration that may be encountered. We are able to line pipe sizes from 50mm up to 150mm diameter, and patch pipes from 100mm to 600mm diameter.

Laser Profiling
The laser profiler is a stand alone tool for use with our CCTV Survey systems to collect survey data and create pipeline reports containing the measurement of faults and other features inside the pipeline. This includes measurements of pipe size, laterals, water levels and other features, as well as automatic analysis of pipe ovality and capacity up to 30 times per second. The laser profiler attaches to our CCTV equipment and the resulting images are analyzed using innovative machine vision software.

Source Detection
We have the knowledge and equipment to carry out the location of waste / stormwater infiltration / cross connection into pipelines, using CCTV, smoke testing and dye testing. From this testing we can establish whether certain pipelines are faulty, live or abandoned.

Smoke Testing
Drain Surgeons Ltd has the equipment to carryout smoke testing. This is used to identify inflow sources, cross connections and defects in waste / storm water pipelines. A non toxic smoke is forced into the pipeline which then escapes via cracks, connections / vent pipes etc…, so as to identify defects within the drainage system tested. Smoke testing is mainly used to check wastewater systems for storm water infiltration.

Fault Location
Our CCTV equipment can accurately locate the exact location and depth of any faults in your drainage system, whether it is broken pipes, collapsed drains, root infiltration or obstructions.

New Drainage Installations
Drain Surgeons Ltd has a team of registered drain layers who can undertake the installation of new drainage. We can undertake projects from small domestic drain repairs and renewals to drainage diversions and larger commercial and industrial drainage.

Root Cutting
We have the equipment to clean and cut roots from drains. We can use either our Hydro blasting units with specialized root cutting heads or our Electro-Mechanical drainage coils with specialized root cutting attachments.
